Before I go any further, you want to avoid the China Club at all costs. If you're looking for a big room club, check out Studio Mezmor (formerly Crobar), Pacha, or even Stereo which is smaller. Those places will have much better music and crowds. For smaller rooms, maybe check out Cielo, Love, etc. As for the dresscode, jeans and a nice shirt will get you in just about anywhere. It's always a good idea to show up on the early side too just in case.

What's even more funny is that this guy goes out of his way to bash Crobar/Mezmor while making it very obvious that he works for Pacha. No one gives two shits about your lighting, ambience, etc. Just keep bringing in good talent and STFU.

I don't really think either is a good option. Boris will probably draw more, but his crowd is terrible. I'm guessing you know the kinda music he plays, so if that's your style, then go for it. Personally, I would wait and see what's going on at Stereo or something before deciding.

Any chance we can change the stats to 5x5 (5 pitching and 5 offensive categories)? Errors and shutouts would be eliminated.

What's the deal w/ the draft for this year? Will it be live or auto?

His parties at Avalon were good too back when they actually brought in decent talent.

Expect to hear the same hard tribal drum beat for hours on end with little in the way of funk/soul. His usual crowd is one of the WORST you will find at any club in the city.

Sander's parties at Crobar are always a good time. I can only remember one time when I was disappointed w/ the music out of about 5x seeing him there.

If you're sick of everything in NYC, then you should move. Go to Europe or something. Scene is way better there.

Just tell your friend who is into hip-hop that you don't want to go to any of these parties b/c you don't want to deal w/ all the drama that always seems to go down at them (fights, shootings, drunken assholes, etc). Not to mention that the music itself is wack as hell (guys singing about their money, bitches, rims, grills, and all that other stupid nonsense).
