nickijay Posted December 8 Report Share Posted December 8 Just saw it on tv....it's a hammer that dispenses the nail, puts it in position for you and you just hammer it in...you can do it with one hand tied behind your back - they even demonstrated!!! I'm always fixing and hanging, hammering....my roomie bought me this really nice hammer last year for xmas but now i want an autohammer b/c while i may be good with my hands i'm also very clumsy!!!------------------ Boink like a bunny!!! nickijay Posted December 8 Author Report Share Posted December 8 this is the beauty of the autohammer....the fact that it places the nail in the correct position for you means you don't have to hold the nail with your other hand, therefore eliminating the possibilty of bashing one's thumb with the hammer!!! INGENIOUS!! I wish I'd thought of it! The only danger is falling off the ladder or something (which I've done, of course)------------------ Boink like a bunny!!!
