i stopped by the powerbar at 3:30am but no cpny-ers in sight. oh well. i couldn't hold out 'til 6am - hopefully next time.

timo mass was pushing it pretty hard towards the end of his set. a perfect crowd for deep dish to bang out some tunes. deep dish was spinning a bit harder than i remember them and it sounded so good.

i might even head for a little lee burridge action tonight...

cheers

We did meet up at 3:00...we all hit the dance floor around 3:15...there were about 8-10 of us...

Speaking of which, we didn't see you, NoLimit...

Lets see...I was there with Crommy, Vejita, and MrNice...

saw Vampie, MarioNYC, xjk3k(the boink like a bunny girl), FilthySlag, and the guy with the whistle under the disco ball I forget his name...

And a couple others I forgot their names.

6am meetup...no one.

I didn't think Friday night was all that.

We arrived around 1:20 and caught the last

30-40 minutes of Timo Maas. Although

some of his stuff was rocking, he kept

dropping into the doldrums of quiet, slow

house for seemed like an eternity (10-15 seconds). Then, he'd pick it up just

to quiet down again. He did drop Azzido de Bass' "Dooms Night" though.

As for Deep Dish, it was my first time hearing them in Twilo. I saw them in Seattle

in September and they were about as good

as they were Friday night. While there were

some times that I lost myself dancing my ass off, those times were too few (maybe 4-5). The rest of their sets were up and down (in terms of track genre) with everything from

funk house, to deep house, to progressive trance, to trance (they dropped Led Zeppelin's "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" [The Quivver Mix]) and Steve Lawler's "Rizin'").

So, yes, it was a good night but not amazing.

Maybe the coolest part was seeing Sharam on

the dancefloor up front grooving with

everyone...

Digweed.
