Kenny laid down some quality tunes last night. Tho I must admit the grand prize goes to the rez who was movin all night long - don't see too many of dem dj's joining the crowd to get down to it (there's a song, "Get off your high horse" that goes "ever seen a dj dance?")... I believe the track referenced above; was Kevin's personal track called "My Wax". A really tight production with a little Marshall Jefferson piano sample along with a really nice female vocal. Kevin defenitely brought mad energy! I urge everyone to check out his Friday night residency at Flow; starting on the 28th (I think). Next up @ The Funk/tion is deep house temptress Lola. Lola is a long standing pillar in the New York community. Lola is part of the legendary Bang The Party and the long-running Deep See (Tuesday nights @ Sapphire) party along with her partner E-Man.
