jennEfer Posted December 12 Report Share Posted December 12 As I look back into my dating past I realize that everyone I have ever been with has been older than myself. I dated someone who was 21 when i was 16, 18 when i was 15, and, well, you get the idea. Now that I have turned 18 and things like that are now legal I am starting to like someone who is younger than I am. I once swore that I would never date anyone who is younger than me but I guess things have changed. There is a problem... he is 15 and my younger brother is 16. His older brother is only 2 months older than me. I have given this whole age thing alot of thought and come to realize that age is not a number, but a state of mind. tyco Posted December 12 Report Share Posted December 12 You're exactly right......it very much depends on the person and their maturity level......the odds are against you because 15 is very young especially for guys.......takes us a bit longer to grow up for some reason.....however, if he proves he can hang on your level or you decide you'll drop to his, it should be all good.....I don't think the brother thing makes a difference.......so you would consider it more if you didn't have a brother?? edge420 Posted December 12 Report Share Posted December 12 I think it only matters at certain ages. Something happens to girls when they turn 21, in my opinion. That freedom and independence or something... so watch out if your in a relationship at that time. And i'm sure there's a pretty consistent time period for guys as well. I know the female thing from experience though - 2 experiences.
