Join us this Thursday, November 3rd, at Vertigo as Analog Lounge welcomes three very special guests; Matt Dimond, Dave McNeary & Tanner Ross!

MATT DIMOND

As an only child growing up in Arlington, Massachusetts, Dimond was always strongly drawn to music. With Boston just a short drive down I-93, he began exploring what the city had to offer as a teen, eventually becoming a regular at The Phoenix Landing and Axis. Both held midweek nights specializing in progressive house, a genre marked by atmospheric melodies and driving basslines. He became the guy who knows every record, blessed with an ear that can recognize the next song two beats in, and backed by the memory to name the artist, title and label on command.

2004 marked Dimond's Miami debut, with two gigs during WMC. The infamous Plastic Sex Party, a particularly messy morning affair that Dimond rocked, proving that Long Islands really do make the best breakfast. He also took the decks as part of The Marlin Hotel's nearly non-stop shindigs, playing the Proton Party.

In recent months, Dimond has made appearances at Boston's most popular afterhours, RISE, as well as in clubs in Montreal. And if you're lucky, you might be able to catch his current blend of all things house at the fabled Club 1100, one of Boston's best-kept secrets. Those in the know are raving about this venue, and Dimond?s unadvertised parties here are already becoming the stuff of legend thanks to a flow of liquor so steady it could satisfy even a future rock star.

DAVE MCNEARY

It takes a lot to make an impression on a city filled with a remarkable amount of talent. David McNeary may be one of the most driven individuals in Boston's underground scene. And though his DJ career is still in its infancy, David has already achieved considerable success.

As a resident of Boston’s famed afterhours club, RISE, for over two years David dispenses his trademark brand of bouncy progressive house and trance weekly. As if that’s not enough, David has recently found himself behind the decks in venues as far away as Montreal Canada. He has played along side the likes of Danny Howells and John Graham (Quivver) and tirelessly fine tunes his sound with the so called Club 1100 collective.

And don’t be surprised to find David mixing records in the dance music department of the Virgin Records Megastore in Boston, where he works as a buyer and keeps a constant finger on the pulse of new music. Though his achievements make him the envy of many DJs, David remains a humble artist, an avid supporter of the local club scene, and a devoted fan of dance music.

TANNER ROSS

Originally from New Jersey, Tanner Ross moved to Boston at the beginning of 2005 to study at Berklee College of Music, pursuing a degree in synthesis. Tanner has worked with many established artists such as R3vovle, Kilowatts, Dpp, 3pm, Toksin, Embryo Mystic, Afterglow and has re-mixed The Wide Band Network and Basic Pleasure Model.

Tanner also makes up one third of the group Sex Therapy (other members are Danny Patterson and Christina Chatfield), who played for the first time at Analog Lounge in September. Between classes and work, you can find Tanner at the famed Club 1100 , or out and about promoting for Boston's premiere afterhours club, RISE. Mixing electro and funky house with only a laptop and Ableton Live, his music is sure to move you.

Come down to Vertigo this Thursday for good drinks, great music and even better company at Analog Lounge!
