oldtimer Posted January 5 Report Share Posted January 5 i think you guys are looking for the anti-psychotic medications such as geodon, risperdal and haldol.. these medications help people who have auditory/visual hallucinations and/or feelings of paranoia.. they will knock you flat on your ass.. (cant really hallucinate or be paranoid when you're knocked out) these are normally effective, unless a patient has mental retardation in which case it often has an adverse affect and makes them flip out, in which case thorazine is often used... thorazine is an old school drug with lots of side-effects, so it is only used when other medications do not work. if you want someone to be sedated all day but still be able to function a heavy dose of klonopin will do the trick.. maybe 1mg 3x a day Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
