X'ESS ENTERTAINMENT PRESENTS....

TOUCHE' AT CACTUS!

featuring....

JAMES CURD | Greenskeepers

James Wilson Curd began spinning loft parties and raves at the ripe old age of fifteen years. At the time, most of his friends made fun of him for this, called him names and never returned his phone calls. These same friends would wind up eating their words because by the time James was 19 he had already built a solid foundation for himself in the Chicago club scene as well as the scenes from many of major cities around Chicago. At 20, though still not legally admissible to the clubs he was spinning at, James found himself guest Dj-ing at most of Chi-Town’s dominant dance clubs while holding down residencies along side Chicago greats, Gene Farris and Diz..

X'ESS ENTERTAINMENT and SMART CLUBBER PRESENT....

X'ESS 4 YEAR ANNIVERSARAY!!

featuring....

LEGO | poontinmuzik

Inspired by his family and the surroundings of Chicago's Latino community of Logan Square, Rafael Rodriguez, Légo, committed himself to music at an early age. His career began when he was 19 years old with his first club residency at Kaboom. Kaboom led to his 12-year residency at Red Dog's "Boom Boom Room," which is the longest running night in dance club history. Red Dog gave Légo the musical freedom that he needed to gain respect from his peers and fans alike. Being part of a night that has received worldwide attention opened the doors to production. Drawing from a wide spectrum of musical tastes and influenced by many of Chicago's DJ legends Légo pursued his musical passion.
