eivissa
Ibiza is awesome!! You will have the time of your life- As far as clubs, its pretty easy. Manumission is the hot party on Monday night at Privilege, the largest club in the world. Sunday night, Space is the place to be. I am trying to think back on the other nights. Its been a couple of years since I've been there. My suggestion to you is to check out www.ibiza-spotlight.com- they have everything about ibiza on there. During the day, Bora Bora is fun. As far as hotels, I stayed at a place called Sinbad that was decent- nothing special but it had a pool. You may want to consider renting a car while you are there. It is not expensive and the lines for taxis are ridiculous- it is a very small island and there are a limited number of cabs. When you are all fucked up and tired, trust me, you don't want to wait in those lines. As far as flights I think you can fly to Madrid or Barcelona and then it is a short flight to Ibiza. I would check out the travel search engines and also iberia.com directly- sometimes they are cheaper. Ibiza is an awesome place- you will meet people from all over the world- everyone is friendly and out to have a good time- have fun

milehi
i'm going in september as well - CANNOT WAIT!!i always find it easier to get to ibiza from barcelona - you can take a puddle jumper over to ibiza, or you cantake a ferry/cruise type ship that will get you there aswell... you should be able to get easy hits on traveloptions on google...the ibiza spotlight website is invaluable - it gives youdetailed layouts of the island, describes the differentareas/cities, and even gives advice for first timers, etc...plus, it has the clubbing calendar so you can have anidea of who is playing at which parties & at which clubs...you can even buy your club tickets on line as well (whichi suggest - we did it last year, and it was perfect, youpay a discount on the cover, and you are in a separate linealtogether - i don't think we spent more than 2 minutes ina line when we bought our tickets on-line)...that site also has hotel reviews, and if you drill down intosome of their forums - there are a bunch of posts where peoplegive their opinions & ratings on the different areas & hotels...WE LOVE SPACE on sunday is a must. opens at 8am, and goes till6am on monday. INSANE. i'm trying to plan my week as we speak,it's just hard to fit everything in!one thing that i would double check is your luggage weight.you probably won't have a problem from NY to barcelona, but onour flight last year from barcelona to ibiza, the luggagecouldn't exceed 35 kilos. we ended up having to unpack stuff& store it in a locker at the barcelona airport, etc, just ahassle you don't need to deal with if you don't have to...man, september can't get here FAST ENOUGH!! poccnr
I might be mistaken but that is the month that most of the clubs close. The year round club, Pacha.. is the best bet... I haven't had a chance to take a look at the line up, but closing parties are generally around that time. I like Port des Torrent to stay, there is a nice little cove and its only a short jaunt down the beach head to get to San Antonio, home of my favourite... Es paradis! In any case, enjoy the sun and party party party.
reeseeeee
September sees the closing parties, usually the 3rd week of September. Check Ibiza Spotlight for full listings though. The closing parties, although I've never been , are supposedly the best nights of the whole season. If I was to go back to Ibiza, I'd stay in playa den bossa. You've got Space on your door stop and of course, Bora Bora. The Aqua park is also there, and not too far from Ibiza town. San Antonio is only worth a visit for Mambo and the coastline cafes for sunset/sunrise. You'll be able to get to Privilige and Amnesia on one of the night buses that operate all night, every night
