We are looking to stay on the beach, but close to all the clubs and restaurants. Also, we are looking for a moderately priced hotel. We have been considering South Seas or The Shelborne-any opinions on these?I don't know about the South Seas but the Shelborne has a new wing of bungalows which seem pretty nice. They overlook the pool. Not sure on the rates. It is summer (low) season so you may get a break. I'd stay away from the Shore Club, Loews or the Delano if you want reasonable rates. djfrosty Posted July 20 Report Share Posted July 20 I stayed at the Beacon last month. It was reasonable, comfy beds, and great location at 7th and Ocean. beenieman Posted July 21 Report Share Posted July 21 The Sagamore hotel is awesome. Big suites with lots of space. Also has a beautiful lobby.
