I know at cielo/love or certain parties where i can skip the line i dont mind waiting my turn while security tells me go right ahead, i dont mind waiting myself, unless its really really cold, or im late or something.I didnt make it out was to tired from thurs night and also was at the apple store with kerri chandler ripping it till about 245am, danny krivit, quentin harris, phil d some of the house dancers were in the house, was a good time.Hopefully will make it out next week for king unique, thats gonna be a very interesting night, and respect to chris soul who everytime i have heard him has played some good stuff. The sound system was definitely bangin. The crowd was a little too upscale for my taste, but it was cool to see a different type of party with great music. Whoever was on when I came in around 1 was tearing it up. Can anyone ID that song with the music from "Apache"? I LOVE that song. This guido came up to me and started doing the SF shuffle hardcore; I was trying so hard not to giggle and thinking, "Wow, this guy really belongs at Factory." It definitely was not an SF shuffle kind of party, haha. Then 2 seconds later he goes, "You want to meet JP? He's my boy, he's right over there." Hows the dance floor and soundsystem. I saw JP at pacaha and errric morillo. I like eric morillo better but the crowd for jp was better then eric crowd. I did not care both dj had the crowd dancing into the late after hours and nypd did not shut them down but they where out side.How late is duvert open friday night? Funky, fun, groovy house and Dave Vasquez closed out for AVH more on the dark, proggy, chunky tip.this week for King Unique is going to be just insane...Low End Specialists playing as well. az-tec Posted October 17 Report Share Posted October 17 looolyea GBH ran Friday night there...I ran Thursdays the last year and a half they were open with Thorin and Sevan, LES as residents etc...trying to bring back something similar to the vibe we used to have at those parties...if Friday was any indication, we are well on our way to doing that oh and afa...yea, Chris opened up a bunch of times at SOL for me, and at Cellar Bar, BED etc...kid is very versatile and a great talent.
