So First off where is the best area to stay? I wanna relax and hit clubs that play house at night?

What are the best small clubs/Lounges?

Do I jeed a car to get to all these spots or is there subways like NY?

i don't really know a lot of joints that offer good house; new york is a lot bigger on house than l.a. is, unfortunately. deep is a big favorite around here, though:

and you will DEFINITELY need a car. the subways and buses here are a total joke and will get you nowhere. i say this as someone who had her car in the shop once and had to exchange a 20-minute-by-car commute to a 2-and-a-half-hour by bus commute, literally.

I would recommend King King on Saturday night, nice space, great music, mostly house heads, door is $5 or $10 www.kingkinghollywood.com/

On Sunday, definitely Deep @ Vanguard, large venue, great deep/soulful house music.

Those are very good recommendations but I would also add, for this Saturday 8/18, The Sound Republic playing at WERKIT, in the upstairs lounge of Circus. Can't beat the Sound Republic in terms of Chicago house, and it's free if you RSVP and show up before 11:00. For more info, go to housesaladla.com
