JDSTYLES
So I am sick of recording mixes onto tape and then converting at a friend's place to disc...I don't want to have to buy an external CD recorder...So...anyone know of any specific models or deals on Sound Cards so I can record directly into my hard drive?Help is MUCH appreciated...Thanks. tintin
Look into the Audio Media III by digidesign. Good sound card, comes with pro tool. Around $400.
dp80
Like one of the posts above says get the Sound Blaster live mp3 card, actually its about 74.99 at best buy. Great card, also if you got around 60$ go to Atomixmp3.com and buy that program. The card has 2 line inputs, hook your mixer up to it and you can make great sounding mixes (for people like me who cant match beats correctly). Actually the program has everything, it was made by a dj in europe i think, you can load mp3's, it matches all the songs with beats etc... very good. peace
frankiepep
SB LIVE! is your best bet, it's cheapest to ... once you get that , you'll need a RCA to headphone jack cord, to connect your mixer to your soundcard , then your ready to record ...[This message has been edited by ~pep~ (edited 02-17-2001).]
