  1. Lol, here's a link to the cd, missing track 13 though: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=M6VA0BNO I don't think it was made in the UK, more like someone in their parents basement in SI.
  2. not sure at all yet. gonna play it by ear each night. Thursday night probably studio 54 and Rain, I know the friday night were going to Ice, saturday probably Pure, other nights are up in the air. most likely do afterhours every night.
  3. Me and a friend are going down to Vegas that Wednesday-Monday. We are from NY, like going out to clubs like crobar or lounge type places. Just wanted to see who here does the lists for different clubs. Looking at going to Pure, Ice, Rain, then afterhours probably most nights. I know some who post here do lists down there, so if you could reply at which club you work at and what nights i'd appreciate it. Stayin at the hilton from wed-friday then the luxor on saturday and sunday. looking at places with club music (tribal, house), or even a mix of everything. thanks!
  4. the fight that happened outside on line that closed the doors were south shore SI kids.
  5. check out lounge 11 http://www.lounge11bar.com/
  6. did they also hire new security staff? That's what is killing that place.
  7. place is horrible. It was decent when they reopened, when I go out I like to hear club music and in the rear room it was doing pretty good, just a little hip-hop mixed in I guess to keep some people happy. Went back 2 weeks ago and had the worst night ever. The rear room was hip-hop the entire night, the crowd was horrible (no one was turned away at the door I assume), the security staff is a joke. I have never encountered such a bunch of assholes before, we had a big problem at the end with getting a stupid coat and it turned into a brawl with the bouncer who proceeded to throw a punch at someone in the group and in the process put 2 girls I was with in the hospital. I know the owner of that shithole and planet gives nice donations to the hoboken police union to keep incidents quiet, otherwise they would be gone already. Police wouldn't take a report and completly sided with the owners/bouncers. Disgusted with the night, it will be a great time when they lose everything they own over a lawsuit one day for attacking a patron. I have dealt with bars like this before in small towns like when I was in college that get away with a lot of bullshit, but when they go after the wrong person who may know someone a little higher up, take them for everything. This is why I stick with the city now, good times, no favortism with the police at the bars/clubs. I just moved to jersey and like going out here to places like deko but I will make sure and have already told numerous people who have asked for advice on where to bring big groups of people for a birthday/etc, def. not to go to lana lounge. they want to treat their customers like shit then fuck them and they will financially get there's soon enough.
  8. you know what the cover is going to be for thursday? I'm down to go hear rydell, especially since there is nothing to do out here on a thursday night.
  9. just moved to hoboken from staten island
  10. i have a few of the volumes up on soulseek and a lot of other cheesy hard house cd's from 98-2001 soulseek name is "inspectorDPnyc"
  11. like some places have no jeans, no sneakers this place should have a huge sign: No northface no mesh hats
  12. ha, im sure my buddy in the nypd anti-counterfiting unit would love to see this site, considering its based out of brooklyn.
  13. Whats up, im trying to find out some info. on this place for tonite (Saturday). Going out for a girls bday with her friends and a few guys. They want to go to Deep, how is it? Is there a cover or any guestlists needed? Thanks
  14. Def a good mix, you got a cue file for it by any chance?
  15. Don't know about the kid on room raiders, there are a bunch of partners in this place, the kid I know is Ryan M., and he is 24, we used to go to school up in Albany. Not sure who the other owners are but I know these are the kids that all go to whatever bar is hot at the moment bottle service type of crowd. Thats cool, not my scene really, not going to be dropping 400 bills on a bottle to impress someone (let my friends do that then I just drink it anyway )
  16. Place is good. Good ratio of girls/guys but def. hard to get into, I think the only reason I got in when I go is cause a friend of mine is one of the owners. Drinks are regular city prices. Oh it's also the old Village Underground, the original sign is still up there is no new sign for the lounge, it's right next to the parking garage, a lot of people seem to not be able to find it. On a side note, what is good in AC tonite? I'm heading out there after work with a bunch of people, any good spots to hit up after I lose all my money?
  17. I graduated from albany last year. Such a ghetto town, it's the capital of NY and has the highest crime rate in the state. Had some wild times at that school when it was good 98-00', then they started cracking down on the bars and parties. Lived in the war zone a.k.a Hudson Avenue, trashed the house for like 10 grand in damage, got sued by the landlord, and won the case after. Downtown living is crazy, it's the only place you will see a bunch of JAP long island kids living next door to either heroin dealers from the Bronx hiding out on warrants, a halfway house full of thugs, shootings by gangs from neighboring towns, or having your house burned down by little gangsters flinging molotov cocktails into your windows. I'm going up there to visit in a few weeks, gonna cause some trouble at the Post and T's like old times...
  18. are you up there for suny albany? I just graduated there and now live in westerleigh. cannot wait to move again. whoever asked about martini red, I went there twice, had a good time, kid was djing some good tribal, decent crowd there too. what other spots are good on the island now, if I'm staying local I usually just head up the block to jimmy max, or go to danny boys or the beer garden. there really needs to be a direct train into the city.

  20. Rumor is a good spot. I'm kinda biased because my friend owns it, but I had a good time when I went, lot of wannabe spenders there like anyother place but it's a nice setup. suggest going early because it was hard to get in later on.
  21. I wouldn't say it takes all the bad stuff out of your body, it helps when eating carbs and works as a liver protectant also. I've been taking this stuff for about a year and it is the best supplement I have ever tried. I have also been working out, getting back into shape and on track while taking this stuff, but know I have to stop due to a car accident yesterday. I will continue to take the R-ala but will not be working out for a while so I will post about how this stuff is working just with my diet alone.
  22. I usually take it about 10 minutes before each carb meal. You can take it even at the start of the meal it will still work as good. I take about 1 pill (100mg) per 30 grams of carbs. I didn't believe the hype about this stuff at first, considering the guy who owns anabolicfitness posts on elite about it, but I tried it for a while and it makes a huge difference. I tried to see if a cheaper brand worked from another company but it was garbage. I also take one r-ala pill before I go to the gym and sip on a gatorade during my workout (simple carbs), definately get better pumps.
  23. I go up to montreal once in a while, especially when I used to go to school in Albany. Check out Aria, Stereo or Sona afterhours. I am not sure what is new up there, I haven't gone up in a while but will be up there in a few weeks. I usually stay at the Comfort Inn on Crescent street, it is right in the middle of everything and they are cool on partying and music in the hotel. Crescent street has a lot of good lounges that were all playing club music whenever I go. The clubs I mentioned above are good to check out. The casino up there is ridiculous. You get more for your money up there too due to the exchange rate. The beer is stronger up there too, hit up a deli for a 40oz of Labatt Wildcat for like $1.50 to start your morning off...
  24. The new DVD is due out on 9/30/03. You can preorder it now, the cheapest I have seen it for is here: http://www.overstock.com/cgi-bin/d2.cgi?PAGE=PROFRAME&PROD_ID=502846 I just ordered it, its a good price, especially since it is hard to get a real copy of the out of print dvd.
