Looking for a good lounge with good club music for friday night. Is Liquids still good on Fridays? I heard from a few people a while ago they play good music there and its a laid back vibe. If you read my earlier post, seriously, if it worked for me, its gotta work for almost anyone as long as you are a decent candidate, I went from horrible astigmatism and even worse night vision to seeing 20/15. The only thing I'm worried about is I am still 22, but my eyesight hasnt changed for about a year and a half, if it did then at least this place gives you a Lifetime follow-up at either their office or a doc in your area, dont have to worry about eye coverage anymore. One more thing I didnt know about when it was happening, if you smell some sort of burning, dont worry its just your cornea being burned, ha, I didnt know that so as the surgery is going on im like what the fuck and getting all nervous, the doc was screwing around with me. Take the valiums they give if you tend to overreact like I do to things, I must have ate like 6 of them and they still didn't effect me.

I had it done this past summer at The Laser Center on 57th street. Let me tell you how worth it, it really is, I was a borderline candidate because I had bad astigmatism and on top of that horrible night vision (my pupils would dialate to almost double the normal size of a normal person, like I was tripping all the time). So most of the cheap lasik docs would do the procedure with a normal laser but I would still have horrible night vision, the older lasers could only cover about 5-6 mm of the pupil. So lets just say if there was someone who MAY have complications with lasik it would be me. I went there after a few consultations and had it done with a newer laser that tracks your eye movements and covers a wider area. It was over in like 15 min for both eyes but shit, what is this horrible fuckin pain! The burning and stinging (which is sort of normal) after the surgery was a lot worse for me since the laser was basically burning a wider area of my eye, I like an asshole rubbed my eye after, therefore moving that flap of my cornea out of place and had to get it reattached. So for like 2 weeks I took off and just let it all heal. Now 3 months later I am seeing 20/15, better then 20/20, and if it worked for me, its gotta work for most people. I am satisfied except it did cost a lot, but its your eyes, dont go to one of the cheap docs.

is that an eagle talon? I got a 97 and ever since they went out of business there value went to shit, are you sure its worth fixing it? or unless your insurance covers it, which mine didnt when I crashed it.

IT is a bad field to be in now anyway, but albany is the worst, the whole program is about 6 years out of date. the only reason I got good grades there was because I learned whatever was taught in high school.

you said it was sent to a P.O Box, you can get their personal information very easily, especially since it was being used for business (online transaction). Just call the P.O. and request the box number info, either this person used his real ID to open the box and you find out who he is, otherwise if he gave fake info, the P.O takes it very seriously and investigates as a federal offense. Use paypal next time, the buyer is more protected then the seller.

Looking for a place playing some club music, I know a lot of these people will want to dance. I heard about Metro Lounge but I think it's too far to drive from SI. The kid mentioned Hoboken, we went there to Riverstreet but I don't know of any good parties in Hoboken on a Thursday. If you can afford Lasik and are a good candidate (almost everyone now) get it. I had it done in July in the city at one of the top doctors with the most advanced laser. Seriously I had a pretty bad prescription, astigmatism, and almost double the size pupils when they were dialated along with bad night vision. I wore contacts for years and couldnt deal with it anymore. Best decision I made, im seeing 20/15 in right eye, 20/20 in my left eye. ask me more if you want ill give you the name of the surgeon I saw.

for weightloss try the NYC stack from Anabolicfitness.net it works great, sort of in the same way as the xenadrine type stuff except it doesnt raise your heart rate, but it does raise your body tempature by a few degrees. I already lost 3 pounds in one week on it, which I think is good for something legal.

What up, I just wanted to see if anyone who has had this done, what was their experience like after the surgery. I had it done on Friday by one of the top places in the city, I can definately tell the vision was corrected but on my right eye the cornea flap didnt heal right and kept bunching up, so they kept putting me back under the laser to smoothe it out. I think its better and healing today because I just woke up from 6pm last nite, I took 8 valiums they gave me to pass out. How was anyone's experience with this surgery? I am still seeing blurry but it definately is better, not 20/20 yet. How long did it take you to get back to your normal life and see great? Thanks! peace

Yea I heard the whole help desk thing from others who did it a few years ago. But now help desk is even hard to get, with salaries going for a huge $10/hour, with guys 10 years experience who got laid off looking for those positions. 4 years ago if I graduated I would be doing systems administration right out of school. Don't know what happened to this field but its horrible. I think I will just go into sales or management, just because I need the money.
