July 4th Crobar - Cream Comes to NYC with special marathon sets presented by Tiesto and Paul Van Dyk

one lucky winner gets to take a flight back to ibiza with them!

As is evident from the above listing, New York City once again reigns SUPREME in the world nightlife scene, if you ask me....after the few dull years we had there...

PS, kidding about the Tiesto PvD duo on the 4th. jajajajaja :P

I want to go see Cor @ factory.  Next weekend!  I'd rather seee him than G & D any day of the week.  He was off the hook at space after tiesto during the conference...i definitely want to see him again....

I've never gone to SF, ever....the things I've heard about the crowd there are horrible...but I think I can brave it if he is spinning and some people come with me.

Why Sound Factory?  And have any of you heard of E-Craig?

Well E-Craig rocks, he has had all his remixes picked up by hard-trance dj's everywhere but about him DJing is a different story. I till this day haven't heard the guy spin but his producing skills are truly something.

But give the guy a chance Evan, yo creo que el te va a gustar, el juega el trance duro como me gusta a mi!! ;)

Evan next Saturday you need to be @ARC for the last Danny Howells martahon set in tribeca EVA----- you need to pay your respect to the most important dj residency in NYC since S&D @Twilo ------ RECOGNIZE!

;D ;D ;D ;D

also - Circo Loco from dc-10 in ibiza will be @ARC, as well as another possible apperance by Tyrant!!!!!!!!!! :o

Andy,

Thanx for the Spirit dates. Looking forward to Friday.

Aso for SF...I just figured it re-opened like it has in the past....I was going to post before, why didnt Cor tell me this when I told him I was from NYC?? But this must be why.

It's better for me, since Id much rather be at Spirit--- Id like to meet you, Andy...My friend Tyler does the Do-It party upstairs and DJs as well, and I want to see Anthony Pappa again...and I want to finally get to see this club...

Thanks so much for turning up all of these listings guys! Now that the new site is up we are going to be expanding the listing section soon so that you have a week and a month view calendar. You'll be able to look at any arbitrary week or month in the future to see event listings, not just the current week. Information like you guys are digging up is going to be extremely useful to us and we will be publishing it right away.

I feel like we could EASILY make the most comprehensive listing NYC has to offer as long as we can add/remove frequently as things get added or change often. One of us would have to have that priviledge if you wanted it to be truly an effective listing....

there is no effective up to date listing of everything....that I know of----

this could be a good way to start getting consistent hits to the ny site

I think this is an amazing idea. You'd need the right blend of filtering so that not every random party was posted, making the list too long and filled with crap.

It would be great if people could click on a calendar on any given day and seen the whole line-up the city has to offer. I can't even count the number of times I have been asked "what's going on in the city this weekend".

My vote is it delegate it to myself or Charles. Or the both of us===make a listings section where we both can access an manipulate---those are my two cents

Techjunkie --- I think the best way to organize the events is into a calendar like the naughtybooth/rhythmism messageboard --- take a look at NYC events calendar on www.rhythmism.com - something similar to that would be fantastic --- I'm always checking that thing for updates. ;D

That is the plan, that guy is you, and I'm flying up to see you this week to show you how to edit the listings. Nick and Sarah and I will be helping from down here too if we can.

this will be an awesome tool for the NY site...for our users and as PR for us to get people to visit the site.

Right, that's exactly the idea. This is actually Charles' job but if you're interested in helping then go go Evan! If it starts to feel like homework then we have ways to lighten the load. We have a design that should require fairly small amounts of attention to keep current. Testing it all out right now...
