These kids rarely get the chance to step inside a club and by giving them a few different sounds to listen to at these events will probably do them some good. Much like some very well-known photographers have started out shooting porn and when they hit the big time they used their real names. (sidebar: I've got no shame, so when I shoot my first girl-girl-girl spread for Hustler, it is under my real name)Needless to say, DJs and producers have bills to pay and food to put on the table, and in some cases families to take care of, so if they do a few activities that some of you purists consider selling out, think about that next time when you're eating yesterday's Chinese food, and Oscar, George Acosta, and so forth are having cornish game hen, pheasant, filet mignon, and a glass of Dom on the side. Playing festivals like this, dumb down who he is and his stature in the clubbing world. he needs to stop playing with guests and do what dt does at arc, sure dt played with guests but not to the extent that og puts up with at space. And perception is truth, and we all perceive that DT invites those guests and "lets" them spin with him. The same thing Sinatra did in his career, he "lets" you sing with you, you just don't perform along with sinatra. Pod, me and you know, Come oct it's going to be a tag team steel cage match. Dade and Stryke vs LP and OG.... Even Mean Genie Oakland would give the advantage to dade and greg. With only 1000 people needed (if that) to fill it up, I see no reason why nocturnal won't do well, and we know LP will not co exsist with them, so he will book guest after guest after guest and og is left as a cedric aka a filler dj...og needs to fire his agent and stop playing with guests at space, period!
