I think Prostitution should be ilegal in my opinion, any man who pays for sex should be arrested for doing it. Come on how desperate can a man be when there are so many ladies out there in the world. Now the only time I would agree with prostitution is if a man was disabled and he was a virgin and he wanted to experience sexual intercourse with a woman. Thats the only time I would agree with it.

I think that it should be legal and regulated. Hookers should have to have at least a monthly medical exam to retain their license.

As for there being "so many ladies in the world", get a grip. In the end a hooker can actually be cheaper, and they are realistic about what is happening. Most guys I know take a girl out with the express purpose of getting laid at the end of the night.

You know the math, you take her out, wine and dine her, a few hundred dollars later, and you might get some. For around the same price or cheaper depending on what you are looking for, you are guaranteed to get some.

Keeping prostitution illegal is the product of an outdated system of morality based on illogical Judeo-Christian values which no longer apply in the 21st century.

There is this odd common perception with a lot of guys that women don't go out with the express purpose of getting laid at the end of the night. Untrue. Plenty do. Just learn to find them.

I agree with both of your points but now in days its all about the vibe you get from the opposite sex. There are times that a girl would want to have sex with you from the moment you meet her. Its just up to us to figure it out. So instead of wasting all that money on dining and taking her out. You can be smart and go directly to having sex.

Oh totally, I know they exist. There was this friendly one last weekend. Go me.

I know a lot of girls who go out to get some. But a lot, not all, of these girls want to be wined and dined and so forth before the gates of heaven open up. At least with a hooker you are paying directly for a service.

But anyway, I really think that objecting to prostitution on a moral ground is pretty lame. Making it legal would make the occupation safer and in the end reduce crime, and not just by making it legal and watching the percentages go down.

If the ban on prostitution is based on any logic other than religion, then why is a full-body oil massage at a day spa legal? What's the difference? I don't mean with a happy ending, I mean the kind you buy your girl for her birthday or whatever.

A masseuse or masseur is playing an even more subservient and objectified role than a hooker, if that's the concern. So are the people on Fear Factor, that's legal. The hands-on contact all over the body is there if that's the concern. Fluid exchange is not necessarily a component of prostitution.

It's when one person touches another person in certain spots where it suddenly becomes illegal. That's religion.

I don't like the idea of legalizing it, but if it's done, you have to zone it as well. NOWHERE on the beach. Maybe stick it in Overtown.

Macboy, there are strippers selling sex at clubs on the beach already. What's different about it when they can get guys off directly instead of with a friction lap dance?

You've been to Club Madonna right? Plenty of those friction dances those girls are giving upstairs have happy endings. Already happening right now. I think the T-shirt shops are having more of a negative impact on South Beach than the legal prostitution that we already have.

This is so true its already going on in strip clubs where the girl will approach you and tell you for this amount you can have me. It also goes for them masseuse who after giving you a nice massage then ask you if you would like anything else with that massage. Another example are those bars in Little Havana where you have ladies without a green card selling you sex while your buying beer. Recently Miami Police had a task force busting all these little bars because they were prostitution rings. It happens more than what people think a girl now in days doesn't need to be in a corner selling her ass for money those girls that you see in Miami becach are drug infested crack whores who are willing to do anything for that next hit on the pipe.

I personally don't mind the way do it in Vegas it is all kept INDOORS!!!

I personally think thats the way it should be and not have the Ladies walking the streets it just does not look good.

If the guys wants it let him go get it behind closed doors and not drive around like a lost horny toad. ;)

religon?????? how about morality? values? principles? ethics?

Basically society says for the best of the country, it's illegal. Society in a democracy dictates whats legal and illegal.

Religon teaches us how we should live our lives, society tells how how we can't live our lives based on those morals, values, principles etc. There is no fine line, a massage is vastly different then blowing out a 100 pound korean hooker at sun gold tanning in alantic city at 5am all stoned and wasted out of mind...

LdySphnx has it right, the industry should be regulated when it is decriminalised. From what I know, girls in Amsterdam aren't allowed to be "outdoors" so to speak, you have to go to the houses to obtain sex.

Hey but its their choice to do it that way...nobody makes them do it Europe has always been known to be big in the Sex Industry...I actually think its what makes that part of the world go round.

In Vegas the "Gentlemen" have to do it the Old School way!!! ;)

Plus women now a days are giving it up for free and for the fun of it, maybe even for just a couple of drinks ::)...I personally feel thats even worse I mean if you're going to act like a whore you might as well get paid for it at least you get something in return, lol!!!!

Come one now (just because you don't do it) not all girls look like whores when they're out there giving it up for free. Some of us like to play the scavenger hunt game.

agreed....

same here ;)

In Colombia brothels are legal..Married men will go have fun enjoy themselves and do things with these women that their wives won't do..Kids will get their sexual frustrations out on these women and guys with no luck get some lovin..I see nothing wrong with a little bump and grind ;D

There are prostitutes everywhere, I rather go to a legalized, liscenced brothel, than call up an escort...Of course I don't have the balls to call an escort service, but thats if I were to..

It's when one person touches another person in certain spots where it suddenly becomes illegal. That's religion.

religon?????? how about morality? values? principles? ethics?

There is a big difference between morality and ethics. Ethics is what says that it's wrong to lie to a girl to get into her pants. Morality is what tells you that getting into her pants is just wrong in the first place because God wouldn't want that unless you satisfied certain sacraments first, like marrying her.

Ethics has nothing to say about prostitution unless you're swindling hookers or something. Morality, or "values" does.

Morality is dictated by religion. Some people in the US adhere to religions that tell them that prostitution is wrong. All of the rest of us have to live by laws designed to accomodate those peoples' religious sensibilities. Please explain to me how this is different than the Taleban telling women that showing their faces in public is wrong?

The morals and values that dictate that prostitution is wrong also dictate that premarital sex is wrong. How many virgins do we have here? Anybody? Just Abe and he's a fictional character.
