p-poppin
I DID NOT Hear someone call ATB cheese. Have you ever listened to one of his CD's on the way home from a club? or while chilling out after a long night of partying. It's the shit. I think the people on this board have cheese, mixed up with played out. I don't know one person that didn't like Zombie Nation when they first started playing it. Cheese, I would have to agree with stranger in my house and dive in the pool being cheese, but ATB hell no...------------------
torontotrance
HOLD UP, RIGHT THERE. Andre tanneberger (ATB) is PURE CHEESE in my book. I have never seen such a sellout. Paul Van Dyk considers him a sellout, Oliver Lieb considers him a sellout and Timo Maas wants to kick his ass. The man had the hit with 9pm (till I come) but afterthat, he sold out. He makes sub par trance. sorry about this vent but everytime I hear someone say atb is awesome, i always need to vent. Must be a habit. ------------------"No Sound System Is Safe"-Leftfield
p-poppin
And exactly what do you consider a sellout. Someone that has their own sound? Someone that Timo Maas doesn't like. Who cares who Timo Maas likes and doesn't like. It sounds to me like we have a follower here. ATB's music sounds like no one else's, therefor it would be impossible to classify him as a sellout. 9pm was the one song that made it. Have you even heard his new CD? Fields of Love is an awesome chill song. And if you think a sellout is someone that uses other people's cuts to make music then I guess Oakenfold, Digweed and every other DJ on the planet are sellouts. Obviously you have your own taste, and whether or not you like ATB is your own choice, but calling him a sellout because of your own disliking is pretty lame..------------------
torontotrance
Atb sucks in my book and probably always will unless something drastic happens. You like ATB and that is great. Great thing about this world is that people have different opinions. I respect your opinion and you should respect mine. End of story. Peace------------------"No Sound System Is Safe"-Leftfield
p-poppin
Did I ever say that I didn't respect your opinion? NO!, but calling someone a sellout, or cheese just because you don't like them is pretty shatty. Or should I say shatty aye!!! They don't play ATB in clubs, like I said it's better chill out music aye!!! The cold up north must be freezing your ears. ATB's sound is like no one else's. Its smooth, mellow and has really good beats. It's just not really something you can dance to. Anyhow, I am respecting you opinion now we can drop this whole thing aye!!!!------------------
