ibclubbin
Saturday night i had the opportunity to be in the booth with Tronco. Although I dont remember too much, i must admit that he is amazing. Throw in a cd, play a record, drink a beer, run out of the booth for a minute, throw in an acapella to let people know he is spinning.....he did everything without breaking a sweat or skipping a beat. I'm sure most dj's act like this, but what i thought was cool was that he walked in and started kissing people hello, and looked at me (just some kid watching what goes on) and grabbed me and kissed my cheek too. I thought that was pretty cool, cause a lot of dj's are real cocky and dont like talking to people they dont know. It seems, from my experience, that the more popular a dj gets, the more down to earth he gets, cause a lot of small time bar and club DJ's act mad cocky, like they are rockin the main floor at exit when they're playing for 50 people in a bar. Props to Tronco, not only for making phat records and being a great DJ, but for staying down to earth and recognizing that without fans, he wouldnt be as large as he is.BGBG------------------Underground will live forever baby!!..We just like ROACHES....we never die...always livin! Looks like Shampoo is going to desperate measures to gain respect outside of Philly.------------------"A faithful heart makes wishes come true." - Lo, Crouching Tiger, Hidden DragonAOL: Highmay9Napster: JaymeAudioGalaxy: Highmay
