Guest web_norah
why didnt they do this yrs ago?RealNetworks has been steadily building its radio content, most recently inking a deal with premier dance label Ministry of Sound. As part of the new relationship, two new dance stations will be added to the RealNetworks RadioPass dial, with one only available to subscribers. Both will deliver a 24-hour audio assault of dance music, delivered in CD-quality. While the deal is a global one, the new offering will resonate most with European customers. RadioPass offers 82 premium and thousands of free stations, with content coming from both US and European programmers. The latest content move comes amidst intensifying online radio competition, with AOL recently announcing a major relationship with XM Satellite. Overall, RealNetworks has amassed a total of 700,000 subscribers across its various subscription properties, including Rhapsody.
