guess it all boils down to your personal tastes. personally, howells has been impressive every time i've seen him and i've been lucky enough to see him in quite a few locales. having said that, i can't say it's worth it to travel too far just to see one dj. sure each club will have its own vibe/ decor but once that needle drops the main thing that matters is the music, regardless of where you are.

no one has effectively pulled it off, but if a rockin' sunrise/afterhours/indoor-outdoor party could be done in vegas with someone big (ie Morillo, OG, Sander, Dish...) I'd be there...What would be so much fun about something like that is that you'd have the 24-hour casino/bar/hotel/fill-in-the-blank scene as your backdrop...otherwise (except for i guess overseas), is there really reason to leave Miami (see previous thread - what i love...)

Laurent Garnier .. :o :o :o :o

id have to agree with ramon.... im not a huge techno fan but this guy is the man... he can play it all..... and since his apperances are rare here. id def travel to see him....

I saw him in Chicago @ Soundbar a few years ago. He was amazing.

Jeff Mills is another one I'd travel for.

I wouldn't travel just to see a DJ. I need a little more motivation than that. Anyone I'd personally really want to see ends up here at some point anyway.

No DJ is worth travelling for anymore.... :-\

I guess you should find a EDM forum based out of Nebraska and post this question there becuz DJ's probably hardly ever go through there and you would get better answers from them.

We get to see them all come through here so I don't feel the need to travel to see someone.

Terry's got it...it depends on how rabid you are I guess. 99 percent of the DJs I am into, come through here at some point. And as for the 1%? Well, they hit here during March.

Yeah, definitely if I was in the middle of nowhere it would be a more valid question.

In order for me to travel period, I need a lot more justification than going to see a DJ, or any musical performance for that matter.

Just travel with my friends, if we can see our favorite DJ or artist while we are abroad that is a plus but just being with my friends is more than enough. Those memories are priceless...

Right Satan??

Satoshi Tomiie at Yellow in Tokyo would be cool.

I wouldn't travel to check out 1 dj, but I'd go to Ibiza and get stupid and check out a bunch of those mofo's.

I'm happy with my live sets.

I'd pay to go to Ibiza, but not to see any dj in particular.

Same here. I am not going to travel internationally for the sole purpose of going to see a DJ. I'll go to clubs as part of a vacation.
