My boyfriend is also handsome so if we have to get in on our looks we should have no problem although I know there are plenty of beautiful people in Miami. It just depends on how one deals with it. I was a tourist before I was a local, and I took it just as intended, with a grain of salt as a ribbing for a clueless rube. And we had no trouble.What I find surprising/interesting is how many of the locals are bothered by the tag "elitist", yet act elite. That's all I was pointing out. We do deserve our reputation.
