Miami = Big City , But does it live upto Big City Life ?

Every scene has room to improve. New York clubbers treat outsiders like shit, even more so than Miami. Detroit folk would sooner shoot you than say hello. Los Angeles is even more vacuous than Miami. Vegas has great clubs, but zero quality in terms of DJs and music..ICE being a lone exception...but you get my point. The originator of this thread acts like us Miamians just shot his mother, banged his sister, and torched his house.

new york is straight up fuckin spoiled. they have it so well in multiple genres of music its straight up sickening that they complain, but they do.

Well, the same goes for Miami. like Coach said, for this not being a very populated city, we have it too good, but you Miamians are spoiled. And like Swank said, less take a little less emphasis on the dj and a little more on the girls and the party ... ;)

Also, consider this. Miami is only the 46th largest city in America. Omaha, Nebraska is more populated. Indianapolis has about twice the population. Detroit two and a quarter times the population. Chicago, 7.5 times the population. And, of course New York, over 21 times the population. Including the surrounding suburbs, etc may level the field a bit, or it may unbalance it even more.

Please point me to your source on this suspect data...

Well, I tried to get it out of the stupid census bureau site, but their websit sucks such donkey dongs that I had to go to another site that had already fleshed out the data.

But it's really easy to just do a google search for "top 50 most populous cities in America" or some such. Here are some others from a search like that that yeild similar results.

AHA! Finally got it out of the census site.

Population density is also noted there, which I think has some effect on the situation, as well.

It's been interesting to be part of this thread. Is everyone happy to be where they are? It's seems like no matter where you may find yourself to be.....the music sure is tasty....let's not forget about the most important thing....the music....

Content in Europe? Yeah if you want more than half your income taken away in taxes.

Whats mine is mine. Don't get me started on the finer points of freedom. Let us put it this way..I'd rather be tried by 12 than carried by 6. People in Europe don't see it that way.

LOL, I think he was speaking musically. Every place has its drawbacks. Depends on what one is looking for.

---For what I want to accomplish, career wise, it's where I need to be living. In addition, my family lives there & I wouldn't mind being a bit closer in that respect. I also just feel more at home & relaxed in Europe than in the U.S.
