Ronnie Kodak, which became simply Kodak. I almost always had my camera with me when I was 17 and 18, taking pics of me and my buddies, so someone called me Ronnie Kodak and then a lot of my friends called me that. I spent each summer at 17 and 18 camping at a motor home campground in Pennsylvania (where the nickname started), and all my friends, and those I just met (who were there just for a weekend) called me Kodak. And girls I met who wrote me letters after they went home, only had to put Kodak on the envelope with the campground address and the office folks knew it was for me.

Then when I was 21 and started college in Fort Lauderdale I told a buddy about the old Pennsylvania and New Jersey (I grew up in New York but none of my NY friends called me Kodak...bastards! lol) nickname, and before you know it most people who knew me in college called me Kodak. Wait...I studied professional photography, so none but one of my photo classmates called me Kodak. They all called me Borneo. One of my crazy teachers who gave everyone nicknames, said that with my beard and long hair I looked like a wildman from the jungles of Borneo. So in school I was Borneo. But at night, at all the parties I went to from people I knew from school outside of photography, I was Kodak.

Oh, that one person in my photo class who did call me Kodak, he was the one who told all our party friends about the nickname and why they all called me it.

After college, we both got temp jobs working on a cruise ship as photographers, and he told our manager about my nickname. And wouldn't ya know it, before long, most if not all of the ship staff called me Kodak. My manager even had my name tag say Ronnie Kodak, no joke.

So my nicks growing up were:

Ronnie Kodak (I didn't like being called Ronnie though, it sounds like a kid name)

Kodak

Borneo

Prego (a variation of my last name)

Bunny (a girlfriend's pet name for me)

Junior (my best friend's nick for me, since he was a little older than me)

Doodles (because I was an artist and always drew on my books and papers. heh, nah, just joking...I did draw all the time, but no one called me Doodles, I made that up just now. lol)

I can't recall any more than that. But there were a few more, I think.

What's the translation of it at least? I know you said you can't tell anyone, but when you say that it only makes me more curious. ;D

lol, I posted it on purpose to annoy people. Its not a translation, its said the same exact way, its more like a made up name then actual words but when people who speak english hear it it sounds like a dirty word, lol
