The videos don't do either club any justice. I've been to both and like both of them, my only issue with crobar miami is the 5 am closing time. The one in NYC goes till whenever. Hardcore!! Even Space closes early in comparison. I went there last year when David Morales and Junior were spinning and although I left, I heard the party ended at 7PM sunday. However, the clubs can remain operational sans liquor sales till 8 AM (I think) when you can sell again while operational. Completely INSANE!! I thought Space was hardcore until I witnessed this madness first hand. I guess when you compare NYC's 8-9 million inhabitants not counting the 1 million+ illegal ones versus less than 3 million in the whole dade county, it's feasible for a club that big to stay packed and open until the next evening. I was watching on my girl's laptop which has poor sound.And I will happily take being "pwnd" by NYC if it means I don't have to shovel fucking snow off my car half the year. Did I mention we went to the beach last night around 10pm and watched the stars while we dabbled our toes in the sea? Do that in NYC in February then come talk to me. Not always....sometimes in the rare occasion someone moves FROM Florida TO NYC. I happen to think Crobar NY is better for several reasons, the club itself is in better condition. The reed room is great though it has a bottle neck between the bar and the dancefloor. There are a few things id change about the main room, mainly the fact that the dancefloor is way too big and seperated from the bar but the sound is way better this last friday i was there than it was when i went for morillo last year. Crobar miami is kinda dirty and i never really felt compelled to go other than in the RARE occasion when Edgar was there. Just dirty, music was subpar and i didn't like the crowd too much.I have found NY crowds to be fairly knowledgeable for the most part. What i see on peoples ipods sometimes surprises me.
