I heard 3/4 of the bottle. Is it fun? Is it safe? Could it be lethal? If I do this, it'll be in the next few hours, so the first person who answers this has my eternal respect and graditude. rabidpanda Posted February 2 Report Share Posted February 2 Anything with purely DXM as the ingredient will work.I go with Robitussin Maximum Strength Cough, but any generic brand will work just the same (try to get one with more mg of DXM per ml so you won't have to drink as much).Robotripping for me, really sucked. Aside from throwing up my dinner 2 hours after drinking half the bottle, I felt very disconnected, and overall if I didn't know I had drank a whole bunch of cough syrup, I would have thought I was just having a bad headache. You want to be careful with this- you want to make sure that the Robotussin you get has dextromethorphan hydrombide (dxm) as the ONLY ingredient. Many over the counter cough syrups also have something called Guafiesin (my spelling is way off on that one) but this can really mess up your stomach, real bad. siobahnne Posted February 5 Report Share Posted February 5 I guess I might be late on this one, but I had a friend who was actually addicted to DXM for a while and actually one day convinced me to try it. The easiest most non-disgusting way is to get the DM Cough and Cold pills, they come 24 to a box, and if you take 12 u should be way on your way, althought 12 sounds like a lot its not harmful, you will do get a headached after the trip is over.
