Who do you think is a true modern genius..

Does not necessarily have to be IQ level but rather who has monopolized his/her industry to such an extent to better themselves in the marketplace

here is my pick for true genius:

Why

He took on time warner and ted turner and won.. fought back from a steroid scandal in the late 80's early 90's and beat the US Government.. he created hulk hogan, the rock, Stone cold steve austin, bret hart..

for 50 + years WWF/WWE has been around

McMahonism is alive and well. and he will carry it on to the product of his semen Shame Mcmahon who is also a gifted athlete in his own right..

A true modern genius for me is, Stephen Hawking

His book A Brief History of Time is a must read...

Professor Stephen William Hawking, (born 8 January 1942) is considered one of the world's leading theoretical physicists. Hawking is the Lucasian Professor of mathematics at the University of Cambridge (a post once held by Sir Isaac Newton), and a fellow of Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge.

"We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special.

Einstein for his genus towards the understanding of science. His fundamental understanding of the Universe and his ability to coalesce and communicate it to others was fantastic.

Hitler for his genius of understanding manipulation and power. Don't get me wrong, I don't think what Hitler did was right, just that how he did was an amazing feat on the lines of a mad genius.

Ghandi for his genius towards peace. His ability to rally others and create peace through non violent protest is a fascinating contribution to the world that will continue to be copied foreverand should be because it leads to what the world needs. Peace.

Hugh Hefner

Hefner was born in April 9, 1926 Chicago, Illinois, and grew up "in a very typically Methodist repressed home" with "no show of affection of any kind". He went to Sayre Elementary School, and Steinmetz High School in Chicago, then served in the U.S. Army during the closing months of WWII. Upon his release from the service, he majored in psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and resumed his relationship with Millie Gunn, who would become his first wife.

Despite spending less than three years in college before graduating, Hefner found time to edit a humor magazine called Shaft, and also made money by selling cartoons to magazines. His first official job came with a firm that produced and printed cardboard cartons, with the youthful media-wannabe saying it was the closest he could get to a job in journalism.

After later serving in both the subscription department and as a copywriter for Esquire magazine, he left in January 1952 after being denied a five dollar raise over his pay of $60 per week. He then moved on to a publication called Children's Activities, but took his biggest gamble the following year by loaning his furniture for $400 and raising $10,000 from 45 investors to start his new venture: Playboy magazine.
