There's a Met Foods but its gross, i prefer the smaller stores plus they are on my walk home from the station. I pick up 5 things i need and keep going home. Its GREAT. And only like $12. I don't know of any Safeways out here..there aren't any in FL i believe...but back "home" in the dc/va/md metro area, that's all you will find for the most part...not too sure if they all went bankrupt either.There are Safeways in Canada as well. They are all over Calgary city of Alberta, for the ones that don't know. Went to Banff National Park, where you will find the Candadian rocky mountains and there was a Safeway in there too(they had their own little town inside a national park, thought it was interesting.) Guest klubveteran Posted November 20 Report Share Posted November 20 im a publix whore. ;Dalthough the one here in Miami Lakes is closed down now for renovations....hurry and open back up :-[if you have never been to publix on a sunday at 7am then you should.theres no way you will catch me there in the heat of midday isle traffic.get there by 7am and i zooom up and down the isles deli ordering in all im out by 720 am tops!!!!its alomost orgasmic to have it all to yourself. and then after i put all the stuff away i have the option to go to the Space patio or stay in and watch meet the press or espn with lots of food.
