Coming to Miami for my hunnymoon, whos playing where???

I'm going to be my favorite place to party, Miami, for my hunnymoon. I will be in town sept 8th and 9th. It looks like the only party going on is Cedric Gervais at space in the AM. What time does he come on? What other parties are going on?

I have only been to space in Miami for clubs, so thats all I know. I wish Oscar was going to be there, he makes space, well, space...

Saturday night there are lots of parties to chose from - what are you looking for? You could hit up cameo on south beach then head to space for afterhours... or take a nap and go to space for afterhours and hit the patio party... if you're hear early morning saturday, then i suggest going to nocturnal at 5am or so for the Local Celebrity party (one of my personal favs)... space is my fav to go at 4am or so then hit the patio at 6am.. I believe there is an afternoon/evening party at Nikki Beach on Sundays....

Relax OG, nobody's hating on the place. I'm just one married dude trying to help another married dude out. I took my wife to Ultra for our 1st anniversary and I haven't heard the end of it since....the nerve of these chicks, wanting flowers and candy and shit.

lol...well this is yet another married dude telling a married dude you shouldnt tell other married dudes what youd think their wives would like better..or what they should do on their honeymoon.....If youre married, you should know there is no such thing as marital advice..lol!

I dont think he came on here looking for marital advice anyway...poor guy just wanted to know what was going on club-wise in town that weekend....youd think he could get that info on this board...but NOPE...instead he gets to read 2 pages of personal advice from the experts and discouragement and negativity (except of course for 2 WOMEN who think his plan is great!)

as a matter of fact...not one person has replied with a single event that is happening that weekend..lol

residents down here are THE best...Nikki Beach on Sunday afternoons with Patrick M are sooooooo much fun...you guys will have a blast!!! The Betsy Ross hotel has a really cute bar too which is right on Ocean Drive...I think around 16th...Also for Sunday brunch with yummy mimosa's check out Cafe Med...on Ocean Drive as well....I go all the time when down there...killer breakfast

Okay a couple of highlights for you bro.

Thursday Nights you have two really excellent choices and two very good friends of mine are playing. You have the minimal tech house guys doing their thing over at laundry bar, Igor is the best host ever. Its a great party man if your looking to chill and chat with your wife and really really enjoy quality musicn and a quality group of friends for life.

If your interested in a little something more upscale, try going to Indra, Juan E has an excellent crowd and they are their to dance. Really a great night. Just be sure to bring your dancing shoes.

Friday nights I love seeing one of the best production artists of Miami Charlie Solana over at Gryphon night club. Its great because you can also go to the casino locally with your wife when your there.

Also on Friday nights you have the after hours party with Local Celebrity over at Nocturnal with Roland. Has been and always will be IMO one of the greatest patio dj's ever. Great Exprience.

Finally you have on Saturdays Club Space. I think Oscar and Cedric's music speaks for itself and you knowing the name tells you its a club of caliber and quality.

I hear Karu and Y is really happening, You can NEVER go wrong with parties at Blue where Miami's finest up and comming artists are always playing with soul and heart, and I have not been to Cameo but I hope to check it out soon I hear they have a great sound system, but are primarily playing hip hop. The Pawn Shop is a lot of fun just because of the decour. Well I know its not an exahustive list but I think it will give you some parties to look into. Have fun! And welcome to the boards.

Ok, let's get back to the program.. You say Sept. 8-9th, which are a Sat.-Sun., correct? Give us your musical preference and/or club type (ie..indoor@night, outdoor@day)

preference and also whereabouts you are staying if downtown or on the beach.. Then we can help you better and also see if there is anything else besides the residents going on that weekend.

Well this thread gave me a good laugh...lol

My wife and I spent our wedding anniv this year @ Nikki Beach (Sunday) and last year @ Space afters... So my marriage related clubbing events have already been suggested ;D If you do either, you'll experience something unique to Miami and def have fun.

If a married couple wants to hang out in a nightclub, more power to them. If someone makes the mistake of marrying me, they better realize I'm into going out to nightclubs for fun and profit. So when I see married couples out at a club, I consider it a good thing. They're not letting the institution of marriage cordon them in to a life of Starbucks, Wal-Mart and mediocre timeshares near Orlando.

Sometimes, we all have to step back and realize the state of things here as compared to the rest of the nation. We've got it damn good club-wise, and the first thing half of you chimps do complain.

I've played "guide" to married folk from out of town before, and yes, they do want to see our clubs. Of course they want to do touristy shit, but they also want to see the clubs, even if they're not club people per se.

The Miami area is known far and wide as one of the top places in the world for nightlife. GMCVB plugs the club aspect all the time in their campaigns. Years ago, they even had a little applet we designed on their page feeding them nightlife news.

just watch out at space or any megaclub in miami. i left the dj booth at space for 10 min to get a drink for myself and my gf went to the bathroom and she was hit on in the 10 min that i left her alone all nite..

1. Go to lowe's for dinner at emeril's

Bling, I have been bringing Kelly there for years, its comical at this point to watch the pathetic no shirt crowd walk up to her when i am not around, she laughs them off, then i walk up and they are always like oh man your gf is soo pretty, yah no shit sherlock thats why shes my gf.

anyway if you are toting a hot chick, you have to expect this type of behavior, its only natural for these leaches to try to walk up on every girl and get denied. If anything it should make you feel good,(some of them are downright hilarious!) they know at the end of the night that chick is going to be naked in my/your bed. They are like bums for the most part, once they realize they aren't getting a buck they move on to the next.

and to the person making this thread, come to miami do the tourist thing, nice dinner, nice club, then come to space for the pure nature of it, i mean would one go to magic kingdom and not ride space mountain? We all have fun, i am lucky enough to have a girl who likes to party like i do, hell most of the times I am the one wanting to leave while she is rocking it out.

When the whole wedding thing does happen, you can bet your bottom dollar that next morning will be spent in a place we love, that terrace. fuck it maybe ill wear my tux! 8)

I've seen it before. They have their reception at a restaurant or something, then the bride, groom, and others go to a club to party it up.

First wedding I shot had the reception at Shadow Lounge, oddly enough.
