Any mentions in any of the papers about cops checking for driving drunks? Any locations? If you know the info would be appreciated. I can't remember if they do this a lot for labor day.

I know in Surfside for sure on 82 and Collins. Those cops don't have a fu@#$ing thing to do!

lmao ! That is true. Also, those Bal Harbour police WILL set up a nice little 6 or 7 hour checkpoint just on the weekends....and then, sometimes, it doesnt even have to be a weekend.

North Miami Beach had one Thursday night on NE163 ST on the east bound land in front of Ale House before the bridge at 8:45PM!!! I went through is sober but I was like WTF? A Thurday at 8:45?!?!

They were probably looking to bust some drunk Jews that had way to much Manishevitz at the Kabbalah Center! LOL

I've never driven through a checkpoint. What is the usual procedure for those things? Do they just look in the window and ask you if you are drinking? Do they automatically tell you to get the fck out of your car. I'm gonna have some gum handy over the weekend.
