p-poppin
I haven't heard anything about Oakenfold coming to Chicago, and I doubt it will happen. I know of some clubs putting on some pretty good parties. RedNoFive is 50 bucks and that includes open bar food, and admission to RedNoFive and Fifth Floor. I heard White Star was gonna be going on but costing about 200$ just to get in.------------------

kimberlyco
Hey Tommy, We go to the mission all the time, I want to go somewhere different I guess. You know, New Years is supposed to be a "different" night (yeah right) but I'd rather be downtown in a hotel I guess. You are lucky though, going to NY right??? der
Eh tommy! Yah, Amy and I've been laying low til the 23rd. Then the 30th and 31st are gonna be full on. Brah, time w/ the family's important. Too bad they're all the way in NY though. Be sure you say hi for me to your bro and of course, regards to Liz. Kimberlyco - hey, I totally know what you're sayin bout doin something different. It helps it be more special. But, if you go there all the time, wouldn't you be more comfortable there, and maybe have more fun? I dunno, just a thought. Have a blast whatever you end up doin, K? diesel77
Der,What do you think about Crobar being closed for a month? What are we gonna do?tommy------------------"Nobody picks on a strong man." - Charles Atlas
der
bro, I dunno. I think we ought to venture out a bit. Amy's kinda a crobar snob but we'll just have to see the other clubs. really I have never been to any except for rn5. I say we see when Curt Caris or Chris Laino's spinning at transit and get the whole gang there. You know what? a better question would be what's Psycho and Teri or Chris Gin doing for that month? Or even what's Angelist or Dan-o doing? I think I"m gonna try to find out. DER

diesel77
Crobar is closing for "renovation" It goes back to some legal problem they had and their licence. Its bullshit but they will take a month off.Der, yeah im a crobar snob too. Im not crazy about redno5, cause i hate the smell in that basement, but id go if everyone else went. Raf told me last week that rivegauche wasnt bad when he went there. Any place would be phat with all the ppl there. I also heard that there is a new club coming(tommy+gus from XL and i think sirin) will have it. It should have extended licence which means that it would be open till 5 then it would be an afterhours joint after. The afterhours would be by invite only.Did you hear about that? Der, you ever been to NY?Come visit me...tommy------------------"Nobody picks on a strong man." - Charles Atlas

kimberlyco
Thanks diesel77 for the info, I really hate the see to be seen clubs. We went to nocturnal, got to the door, the bouncer was an ass, so we all turned around and left. Definitally don't need to spend our money at places like that. Have a good new years .
