Who's Going Where This Weekend?

I'm curious as to where people are going this weekend.. need some ideas for Friday night.

Tentatively For Me:

Thursday - RedNo5 or Rive Gauche

Friday - ??? (maybe Crobar but not too excited about Dan EFX)

Saturday - Dave Ralph @ HOB

Sunday - ???

I was planning on going to Rive tonite but my ass has been dragging all day, so I'll save myself for the weekend. (I really did want to see if PB toned it down at all at Rive or if its still motherf***** this and motherf***** that)(I'm also waiting until next week to test the waters at r#5 )I don't think I'm missing much b/c I think there's another hotthreads show next month.

As for Friday, I'm thinking Zentra (they're having another Spectrum of Sound party with Marguez Wyatt & Diz...(SOS is the group that did the "Silly Rabbit" party with Derrick May in April at Zentra). Don't know how you all feel about 80's music and disco, but sundays Boogie Nights draws a pretty good crowd, and it's 5$ cover and $1 you call it's, that's everything behind the bar, if you can name it it's 1$, that's where we'll be heading, and I'm not sure if there is one close to the city, there are 3, but the only two I know of are Schaumburg and Lombard.

What's this all about? What kind of tunes and what's Zentra like, i havn't been.

B2B, personally I'm not sure that you would like Zentra... the upstairs plays some phat music, but the crowd is usually pretty thin up there. Most people there are downstairs listening to all the overplayed "circus type" music and hip hop. If you are just going for the music and not the crowd, then it's defenately worth checking. And it's always free to get in if you put your name on the list. Even if your name is not on the list it is still really easy to bullsh*@ your way through the door.
