scratchapella Posted July 9 Report Share Posted July 9 Hi all! Just wanted to check in and see what everyone thought of Richie Hawtin on Friday? IMO, he's one the technically best DJs in the world, crazy track selections no one's ever heard of, and I love the way he fucks w/ the EQ! He and John Acquaviva was the first Chicago event I saw when I came home. Excellent set by Acquaviva, hard, banging techno for like 3, 4 hours, so the only thing Richie could do was bring the tone down. I was kind of dissappointed. So what was his set like this time?(BTW, I know most people here prefer progressive house and trance, but are there any techno heads on this board?)
