robbiecastanos
I'm trying to rip a cd I burrowed but its really scratched up, I know there is a setting you can use on Audiocatalyt or Audiograbber where you can have the cd lens read the cd at different angles so a cd can be ripped perfectly even if it has bad scratches in it, a kid I knew made a perfectly listenable copy of a cd that was practically unplayable, anyone know how to do this, kinda new at using audiograbber on my own. Pershoot
I dont exactly know how to do it in that program, but its somewhere along the lines of jitter correction. Do a search in the help function index for that. you should be able to figure it out.
back2basics
Try using car wax on the CD. If you rub something like turtle wax on the back of the c.d. magically it will play ok no matter how many scratches there are.Much easier than messing with software. Pershoot
are u serious? that would totally fuck up the cd lens, not to mention the mechanism. That's what sucks about reading posts, as oppose to listening to somebody, you can never tell if somebody is lieing or telling the truth, or just playin' around. oh well. back2basics
No it dries to for a bond over the CD. The Cd never touches the lens anyway.Trust me it works. I have tried it on about 20 c.d. that were really scratched I have a $2000 Bose CD player so if I was worried about the lens I wouldn't use it. It worked on about 98% of my CD's.------------------I want to go out blazing not fade away. It's not just about the notes played, it's about the spaces in-between.
