Def. the most romantic piece of all times is "Unchained Melody" by Outhere Brothers, u know its the one from the movie "Ghost",

I dunno why this song is so special but it makes me wanna cry everytime I hear it.

I remember 'Firebird' that was a really great piece. Playing it was somewhat challenging.

Steve, the only way to play Stravinksy is to NOT watch the conductor. You have to know your part forwards and backwards (cause half the time you feel like you're playing backwards with his shit) The ensemble has to know the piece so well that you're not even reading the music it's like a guide track. Half the time each part is in a different time signature, so you can't really watch the conductor, only for cues.

There's only one recording of Firbird that I can listen to, I think it's the Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, it has the best quality and it's the only one that the Brass mainly trumpets play completly in tune at the ending fanfare, which is just brutal if it's not in tune, and it's demanding.

The band "Yes" used to open all their shows with then finale from Firebird.
