Unbound Posted April 20 Report Share Posted April 20 As you know from my prior posts - my parents know it all - I came out of the closet and it caused a lot of unnecessary drama because she found the drugs on her own ...but I think your situation is different as to the fact that she is asking you...this simple matter might alleviate the drama and the loss of trust that may occur...but this is only the negative aspect... the good thing is that I am not afraid of getting caught anymore.. I am open and in a weird way I think my mom is worried less about me, because I am honest with her... I imagine that gives her some sort of illusion of control over my drug use...but all in all (to exclude the 2 month long period right after she found out) - the fact that she knows about it did not change a thing... just 2 cents from personal experience------------------MY SIGNATURE IS ANNOYING ME ! ! ! REALLY HIGH!! And she lectured me for lil' bit about something she saw on TV called ecstacy and she knows I go to clubs and she wanted me to becareful. She knows I used to smoke pot all day long in college. I think she thinks I am to old to get wrapped up in that shit!! They are even doing an X story line on All My Children (which she watches). I am so glad I don't live at home!! I don't live with my parents but they come to visit A LOT on weekends and when I come home at 4pm lots of questions arise.. Holidays they have also learned we usually aren't very hungry. I am sure they are not stupid!! We are both old enough that they don't really say anything anymore. I was living with some roommates who was telling me who I could and couldn't have over. Put up with it for a while but finally got fed up. Now things are pretty peachy ... come and go as I please, do what and whomever I want. My daddy is coming to visit in a few weeks though. Can't decide if I want to miss Lawler or not.
