covetoys
The Tempest. One of the most original stories, taken and used by Hollywood for years.Although Hamlet has two of my favorite characters of all time, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (sp??).Good non-club question! bang_66_
You guys are nuts Hamlet is perhaps Shakespeare's best work. The characater Hamlet himself is boundless, or unbound, excuse the punt.King Lear comes second with it's profound nihilism. They are all good damn it. bang_66_
BTW, little known fact. There is a very early version of Hamlet that "they" called Ur-Hamlet. It's really unlike the Hamlet version everyone is acquainted with. Conclusion is that it's so brilliant, that it's possible it was Shakespeare's very first written work that he carried around with him until it was perfected. Hamlet alone is enough to put his contemporary Christopher marlowe to shame------------------"I would believe only in a god who could dance.""Without music, life would be a mistake."-Nietzsche
