Reading his interviews, you can sense his love for the scene. I really think that he travelled so much in order to make people all over the world happy, not just at Twilo. I remember when he was here in November and the man looked beat, completely exhausted. So, in a way its his own fault, but I think its more a result of him tryin to do too much than him being strictly bout the business. IMO, him and his booking agency made a huge mistake by OVERbooking last year, thus resulting in all this negativity. But this is a new year, and changes have been made. rld2g Posted March 15 Report Share Posted March 15 here we go...i actually like pvd a lot, but like shadowchaser(i think) said, the pvd i hear on his 12/17 berlin set or the pvd from his 4/23(homlands?) set or the seven ways pvd are not the same as the one i experienced last month...the level of energy of his records and the way he crafted those sets were the shit, but i was really disappointed by his performance recently...track selection was pretty blah...and he really didnt take me anywhere(as oppossed(sp?) to diggs, pappa, dd, dt, and the countless others who've captivated me with their sets)...i'm going to check him out on the 13th just cause i hope that was an off night, but i really cant say that i feel him as much as i did before i saw him live...this is the exact same thing that happened to me with tiesto btw...love his albums/live sets but was disappointed when i saw him live...are there any "trance" dj's that i wont be disappointed in when i hear them live?...damn...its looking bleek------------------i'm only doing this once...until the second time Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He is already a legend and will forever spin tracks that drive the crowd into a frenzy...If twilo upped admission I would still be there because he is worth every penny...its a shame he can't come here more often but he's as good as it gets. In Boston, where the clubs close at 2 am (!), I can't imagine him doing more than that.At the big European events, he probably has to share the time with all the other DJ's. His set at Innercity was about 2 hours long, before giving up the decks to Sven Vath. If he had as much time as he wanted, I wonder how long he could have kept that crowd of 35,000 going.
