firedup Posted February 14 Report Share Posted February 14 People not so fast. There is a pretty good party at the new club called LOUNGE on fridays. They play progressive trance and house. It's actually pretty cool. Plus, it's a nice place to take a break if you don't want to be cracked out this weekend. Also it's not that expensive. laraver Posted February 15 Report Share Posted February 15 Tribeca - Unfortunately the owner has a bad habit of screwing his promoters and DJ's so nobody works with the guy long term.Other issues are that the overall layout is awkward, forcing bar areas to interfere with dance floor space. Low cielings limit the overall effectiveness of a poorly designed lighting rig. Not the best design to keep your patrons comfortable.2028 Lounge - Across the street from Tribeca. Does a good hip-hop night but not much else from what I can tell. Capacity is small, and again a poor layout hampers your overall experience. The dance floor feels like you in someone's closet.There other "hang-out" type night spots that do pretty much bar business, but no serious entertainment venues currently exist directly in Ft. Lee. sfcraz01 Posted February 16 Report Share Posted February 16 what you do is go to tribecca. dont listen to everyone putting the place down they werent there last week and they obviously have no idea what they are talkin about. its a new party, go check it out. then when you leave tribecca head straight into the city and go hear jonathan at factory...he has been unreal these past few weeks especially... you wont be disappointed...
