lextacy Posted June 5 Report Share Posted June 5 Okay people,I'm sorry, I need to vent.I just started a new job, actually I'm temping. I make $11 an hour and I commute from LI. I spent $23 already..$12.50 for the LIRR ticket$6 for a cab ride to the LIRR$1 for a bagel w/cream cheese$3 for the subway$1.40 for a bottle of waterNow, if I work two hours, thats $22. Take an hour for lunch where I don't get paid. and another hour of work to pay for lunch.
