And did anyone see the owner of the 76ers after they won the conference, he was going crazy, he isn't a stuck-up snob like the rest of the head office holders in the league, he was ready to party the night away and I'm sure he did!Iverson isn't a classy player, that's the bottom line, but he sure is an incredible player with an attitude which makes him an awesome player. His value has been underrated since he came to this league cause of his act. Everyone talks about Carter and Kobe being the next Jordan..but what about Iverson...he's got the game..he's got the sneakers...he might have the championship...we'll have to wait and see... I just have a bitter taste in my mouth because the Knicks were constantly crushed by Phil Jackson's teams. Plus, he takes a year off and then comes back to win another championship with the lakers. Kobe is not normally shut down that easily and he will bounce back with 30+ point games in the rest of the series. safitamace319 Posted June 8 Report Share Posted June 8 haha how sweet it is!! i could hear my neighbors (all guys of course) screaming their heads off at the end of the game. i couldnt even go to sleep after the game because of all the honking.... and this is usually a reserved part of town...Pat Croce, the president of the Sixers, even bigger heart and always a nice guy.. he's seen around town sometimes, interviewed by local news stations and usually has a smile on his face. As for "Now you know!" damn straight muthaf*&&ers.... after all the B.S. that the LA fans were talkin in the newspapers the day before the game, about why the sixers shouldn't even bother flying out, etc. etc. i really really want them to win, but i'm realistic, and so i'm accepting their win in game 1 as a great acheivement. And totally reveling in the fact that Lou got to see the bottoms of Iverson's sneaks...Class no, but Heart yes!!
