nyc420
Saw Oakie at Area One and it was total cheese. He opened with "Hide You." C'mon.....Tiesto gets my vote. But I will still always love Oakie's Creamfields '99 and Havana, Cuba sets.

teklord310
Oakenfold's sets from 1999 and 2000 are pretty decent, I got hooked on them. Until I started listening to Tiesto, he just has a superior method of mixing tracks. I also like his track selection better than Oakenfold's. I'm not impressed by Oakie anymore. gwyllion
Why wasn't one of your options "Snorting Coke"? That'd be first on my list. Well, I don't listen to booty slappin' music on my own time a.k.a.- Wu Tang, so I'd have to go with Tiesto. I absolutely love a little goa influenced tunes. I'm not down with the Oakentroll either. sassa
I am sorta getting tired of Oakenfold....but he's still a decent DJ...Tiesto is definately great....
darkfyre
i'm always open to oakenfold because he's impressed me in the past with very very nice sets.. ive been dissapointed by nearly everything he has released recently, but i know that he's got the capability, so i'm no oakie hater.but then again, tiesto is not just a better mixer, but he's been keeping things fresh and pleasant even in recent times. he gets my vote. bigpoppanils
i do think oakenfold has great talent, but his recent stuff has not been that good (like the swordfish soundtrack-yuck!). tiesto, however, has been creating great tracks since i started listening to trance. just one question: why wasnt sasha a choice?
