We have built a "life style" around our nightlife addictions and in the process developed certain ideas on what kind of beats we like the best.. What sounds mooove you on the dance floor and what sounds make you want to: "sit this one out".. So without genre bashing.. As a personal query into the minds of the NY clubbing community I was just curious As to: WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC MOVES YOU THE MOST ON THE DANCE FLOOR! What's that special sound that makes you shake your booty and elevates you to the orgasmic heights that only music can! I guess I enjoy a little bit of everything at the club.. usually it's whatever's in the main floor.. my preference is powerful techno and hard hitting beats that I can jump and slam to.. stuff that has it's really strong, loud pounding excitment with a little break in the middle where it's kind of slower, airy, etc.. then a STRONG buildup back to the insane techno.. yeah.. that's the stuff I'm feeling.Of course though, you have to through in the bangin' vocals here and there cause I love to exercise my voice =)~ Uplifting, strong vocals that make you D-A-N-C-E! Rad_Z Posted October 11 Report Share Posted October 11 Well the special sound that makes me move my ass and feet for that matter....is mostly something fast and hard with good bass!!!I like the techno/house mix type of tracks, something like the music at the Tunnel in the last year or so. Ex: what renegade and nero played.But i can listen to trance, hip hop, reggea, etc and still have fun and enjoy it. Tend to present a laid back chill vibe. Trance - The most peaceful and beatiful of the genre. Hard House - Good to listen to when u feel pumped and energetic. Vocals - I usually like to listen to vocals during the later late nights of the club.
