vaughanz Posted October 22 Report Share Posted October 22 Any reviews on the new Club Space "House Sessions" CD???I just picked it up and was quite impressed. Oscar G's CD found him in his signature dark pumping tribal groove. His mixing was expectedly flawless. In my eyes, Oscar founded that sound and even though he has had his share of success(Funky Green Dogs), his day is still to come!!! If Oscar is looking... can we get some Liberty City to bring back some memories???!!!Ivano's CD finds him in more of what sounds like him if he played in the main room. Campy, yet tribal, yet Ivano pulls it off like only he can! I hope someone puts out a CD with Ivano in his prime 74 minutes outside!!!!!!!I have only given the Cd's a once over and overall a very good job by Bliss, Oscar & Ivano. I got it a couple of days ago and Vaughanz is right, Oscar G throws a very nice set; Ivano is great as always, couldn't leave out the "welcome to the jungle" track, one of his signature songs. Oscar's is deep, tribal, progressive, dark, twisted HOUSE!Just the way I like it:) Definitely one of the best comps I've heard this year, flawless mixing and fresh selection (w/ some unreleased goodies)Ivano's is also good, although the tracks are a little dated, it is a good example of what he plays Sunday mornings on the Space patio. If you like Ivano live you will definitely like this.Overall A+If you are a house-head, this is a must!Our local boys are making us proud (representing!)
