ctwarrior
Amazon is very quick in processing your orders. I definitely can't complain about their service at all!! I've order many different things from them.
wallflour
Buy another item with it on BN.com and get free shippingIf you're in Manhattan and order early enough, you can get it same day! I'm putting that to the test as I ordered No Spin Zone this morning.
sassa
The sellers of the books are the ones to send them out to you, not Amazon.com itself. I have bought books from it before, but had to wait almost 2 weeks for one of them. I would say go for it, but hopefully you won't get stuck with a lazy guy. dbilas
Amazon is the shit. And they actually do ship you the books themselves--that's why they put ridiculuous amounts of money into an amazing warehousing and shipping system.--DC

I have had good experiences with ordering books from amazon. as for the price, most of the time after S&H it comes to about the same price you'd pay at a B&N. Look for the deals, sometimes they have a nice little free shipping deal and then you will get it for less then you would going to a store. I've ordered from Amazon and they seem to be relatively quick, although free BandN shipping seems pretty hot
