meng Posted November 5 Report Share Posted November 5 I thought I heard mayor Alex Penelas say yesterday at 6PM that today was a "hurricane day" and that we didn't have to come to work. I came to work anyways to at least see if people were coming or not and everyone's here....which sucks...I was hoping to stay home and chill today but I guess not....... pod Posted November 5 Report Share Posted November 5 Joey, don't know if you were at UM for this...2 years ago, a Category One hurricane smacked Miami around a bit, UM did not shut down until the storm was on top of the campus. meng Posted November 7 Author Report Share Posted November 7 ....a little nervous....but it's a good nervous....more like butterflies in the stomach.....I got used to being in the spotlight when I started playing in bands 7 years ago......It's going to be fun.
