yeah, shawshank was a good one...

how about some of those cheesy 80s flicks like the Cannonball Run movies, Midnight Madness, and that one where that weird long-haired bearded guy was living in the basement of some guy's dorm through a secret door in this other guy's closet, and they were all working on this military laser, and then they turned the professor's house into a giant jiffy pop popcorn thing...I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. ;)

I believe you are thinking of Lazlo from Real Genius who lived inside Val Kilmer's and some young kid's closet. Classic!

In the same silly pseudo-scientific genre would be Weird Science, with Anthony Michael-Hall, love the bras on the head and the car battery to the barbie doll!

I read other peoples' lists and there are SO many good movies, how can we pick but 10?
