tastyt Posted November 26 Report Share Posted November 26 FUCK- I cannot believe this... I just got off the phone with a friend of mine. He's been in the hospital for the past 19 days. He was hit by a car! His shin was broken and sticking out of the skin. He had to wait 45 minutes for an ambulance. In that time, an insect crawled inside of his leg (he was not aware of this). They operated on his leg and put it back together. It swelled up and he had a fever of 107... then they opened his leg back up and found the insect. He has to take antibiotics because it left a parasite behind, or something... if the antibiotics don't work he's going to have to have his leg amputated. HOLY FUCK. This is fucked up. I can't believe they realized at the beginning...didn't the x-ray his leg before they put him back together.I hope everything works out for your friend and the antibiotics do its work.
