There's a big difference btw. what people want and what we need.

We DO NEED a lover, friends, a roof on our heads, food and drink.

Everything else is just fluff that you can take or leave. Imagine your home being whipped up in a tornado. Everything there one second, gone the next. Or your love, leaving you out in the cold (yeah, i've experienced that:( ).

Don't take anything you have for granted. I think all those spoiled brats on Mtv don't take timeout to realize what they got.

Selfishness is the enemy of graciousness--Be happy with what you've got and the great life we've got here in USA

This is exactly my problem with relationships...

If a guy is too easy to get..calls too much and I know he wants to be with me I completely turn away.... I don't mean to in any way, but I just end up not being interested in the guy any more.

WHY IS THAT, xtoteclx?/? Explain further please

Same reason why if a girl calls you all the time and leaves you no room to breathe and you know that you have her. I will tell you why: ITS FUCKING BORING and smothering . I like when I chase a girl a little and she chases back, I go do my things she does hers things, it makes it fun, and less stressful. Girls like to be chased, but guys dont. It just gets BORING.

SHIT! the power of hindsight!

I admit to hitching along on my ex a bit too much, but dang it, It was the first serious relationship for me! Neither of us knew any better!

She also was attached to me. We called each other all the time

It came to the point where we'd find ourselves watching "little house on the prairie" every freakin morning while i prepared omelettes! It DID get boring.

She asked to end it, and i fear my pursuance kinda led to that.

But Shit, if she really cared about me or wants to do this again sometime, she'll call me.

In the meantime, who's down for partying this saturday?/? :D

I think guys liked to be chased too. Its like a string that they pull, when they want you close and want to be with you, you should be in a ready stance, (and you should know that you should) and then let it back out, to distance you away, when they need space. Women do it too though, I know I have. Would I be crazy, if I called the whole vicious cycle, a sick game of power???

I think thats what it boils down to, (not in all cases, but sometimes).........
